Not worth it... what is it a $3.80 difference for a tank of Super vs. regular? Just don't buy one latte every week and you have it covered. I am not going to go against manufacture recommendations on a new $25k+ rig for $3.80 everytime I have to fill up... buy the good stuff.

But I spent my latte money on about a dozen charities at their suggestion that I wouldn't miss it. Actually, I switched from Starbucks to Java City, and saved about a buck and got a better latte! I wonder what might happen if we put the latte in the tank?

I havent done a comparison. I did however have regular put into my tank
by accident. Guy was asking me questions and even though I said super he put
regular. I can tell you the mileage was much worse than what I get on super.

I drive 25 miles roundtrip to work. Tank full easily lasts full week and then some.
The regular did not and loss of power was very noticeable.
This was on a stock 6pd w/ ARB(no winch yet) bumper.

I did not notice a difference between the two, but only tried it once. I should say no mileage difference. I did notice some performance difference.

I have noticed a difference between the two I get alot better gas milege on premium even between plus and premium so do premium

I just passed 1000km's on my auto FJ . i have used premuim so far for first 2 tanks.
I just filled up last nite with regular right to the top of the neck i will run this tank and then go to a full tank of premium to test this out on mileage.
The dealership my friend works at also got a memo from the manufactor stating that the FJ cruiser does not have to run on premium and regular proved to be fine.
I do agree will all you others here that u my as well use premium but for arguments sake i will test this out and keep all posted on my results.
Thanks

Keep in mind your performance will gradually increase untill about 3500km. Mine was very noticably better, then leveled out about 4000km.
Your test would best be performed after you put more km on your truck.;)
