I've read various posts describing the tricks of changing the fuel pressure regulator and I think I know what I need to do. But then I checked the FSM for reference and it has me stumped. Usually the illustrations in there make perfect sense... but with this one, I can't figure out what they're trying to tell me. The illustration on the upper left. What is actually WRONG and what is CORRECT there? Don't the examples all look the same?

This is like one of those cartoons from Highlights magazine where you're supposed to figure out all the things wrong with the picture. But I, being a moron, can't figure out what's wrong anywhere.

Any advice? What is Toyota trying to tell me w/ this pic?

no idea on what thats supposed to mean, I have replaced the FPR on a 62 though(couple times actually). It's not very hard, you shouldn't have any problems! Just don't overtorque those bolts; they snap really easy, ask me how I know!

I coulbn't figure that picture out either, so I gave up and just put it on. Have had no problems.
