I own a 1997 LS400 with 241,000 miles on it and it still drives like new and better than my friends new cars. Absolutely bullet proof.

I would keep it and use as a DD or backup. Probably gets great mileage and you know you can depend on it and $1700.00 is short doe and you will always be able to get that for it if it runs. My 02cents

Know of anywhere were I can find the driver and pass headlight assembly?

I've searched high and low with no luck. Really that is the only thing keeping me from driving it.

Sweet. In 2008, there was a study done on high end luxuey cars. They used the LS400 as an example & it happened to be a 1997. In 2008 a used LS400 was still more reliable than any 2008 high end Mercedes, Audi etc etc, pretty amazing stat. Good luck with her.
