We purchased this vehicle in June of 2006 with approx. 24,000 miles on it, for $35,000 (including the warranty) from Frontier Toyota in Valencia, CA. We purchased the Platinum 7 Year, 100,000 mile warranty at that time. We owe nothing on the vehicle, having paid it off within a month of owning it.
All electronics/mechanicals are in good working order.
Item(s) replaced under warranty:
- Stereo head unit
- Rear hatch struts
- Rear window motor
Recalled item(s) replaced in 2007:
- SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER BALL JOINT (Visit this site for reference.)
Accidents (1):
My wife was rear-ended about 2.5 years ago while at a stop light; the damage was limited to the bumper and tailgate, which were replaced by the insurance company. There are absolutely zero adverse effects or blemishes after the repairs were made. I can't remember all of the details, but suffice it to say, they did a seamless job in replacing all damaged areas.
*Warranty Details:
Engine, transmission, axles, suspension, steering, A/C, heating, brakes, electrical, computer(s) are all covered under this warranty. Wear items such as brakes, filters, carpet, paint, body, weatherstripping, wheels/rims; rubber moldings, etc. are not covered under this warranty.
We are looking to purchase a smaller vehicle and also to get some cash to put toward my Land Cruiser.
***Price Update:***
Asking Price: [STRIKE]$18,000. [/STRIKE]$17,000.
Trade Arrangements: **2007 or newer Toyota Camry or Highlander and [STRIKE]$5,000[/STRIKE] $4,500 cash.
**We would prefer a Camry with less than 70K miles, no salvage titles, please. Having priced many Camrys within 200 miles of 91351 on multiple websites and dealerships, I discovered that the value of a 2007 Camry with ~65K miles fetches ~$12,500, some with a warranty.
