I converted my 7/80 build HJ45 Troopy to disc brakes all around. I no longer need the drum brake parts. These are the wide shoe type from an Australian market truck. Some surface rust on the backing plates and outer surface of the drums. I'm sure they would clean up nicely and be nice spares.

$50 plus shipping for everything, including fronts and rears. I can post photos for anyone that might be interested.

I checked to see if a drum would fit in a large USPS flat rate box. Nope. So UPS or FedEx are the most likely options. I'll weigh the brakes if someone is interested in calculating shipping costs.

still available?

Curious do you know if these will work on the semi floater rear axle? I'm thinking of going the other way as in putting the semi floater brakes on one of my FF axles. One thing I do know is the drum brake wheel will not work with these brake drums.

I doubt they will work on the semi floater. I don't have one to check but I think the mounting holes for the backing plates are a completely different configuration. You can see in the photos above that there are 8 mounting holes in the backing plate.

I am just interested in the cylinders front and back

Could I ship you the whole backing plate with the cylinders and steel lines installed? I'll clean them up with degreaser and a hose. Then you'll have spares just in case. $25 for all 4 backing plate assemblies including the cylinders. (No shoes or springs included.)

I'm a bit lazy and don't want to spend the time disassembling them.

Sounds good, but was trying to save on shipping... do you remember which was front and back? Right and left?

Will these wheel cylinders work with other axles? Since the drums and shoes are wider it makes sense the wheel cylinder will be wider also to keep brake shoe centered in the brake drum. Putting them on skinner brake shoes will keep the brakes offset off the backing plate. Or are the backing plates offset towards the inside to make no difference. Just thinking you need the wide drum and shoes to use the wheel cylinders. SOR site isn't really clear but they list the H45 wheels as different than 63 thru 67 FJ45. They show the 9/75 thru 7/80 FJ45as different but the same price which makes me think these are same but the early FJ45 is different. The later ones are about half the price of the early ones which also makes me think they are different.:meh:
