All you'd have to do is weld the top section and the funky section together and insert some reinforcement. A little cutting and drilling and you'd be good.

Can't say for sure when I'd be ok to sell the RTT until I have a better grip on when my Columbus will be delivered. It will be easy to swap it over but this unit does not have a mounting track, rather just eight 5/16" bolts through the floor. If they happen to line up with your rack fine, if not we would need to drill more holes. You also will need some aluminum strap to make tabs to catch the mesh like in the photo. I'll probably do "the long way home" with the club. Might be best if you followed me to my place and do the swap there if I know when my RTT will be delivered.

Sounds good to me. I am flexible so whatever is most convenient for you.

Just heard from Auto-home that my Columbus is in the warehouse and they are almost certain to be able to deliver to Overland Expo. They will confirm that tomorrow. So Ryan, when I get their word ill be ready to sell any time you want. Be glad to meet you half way and swap there. To save time and drilling I'd suggest you bring four tie-downs, then set it up right at your shop. I'll be sure to add that short ladder section which you should find easy to lengthen the top part.

Thanks for the update Ace. If you are willing to meet me halfway I could do just about any day. Week days would be better though, I get off work at 4:30PM.

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Thanks Ryan!

No thank you! I will be putting it through it's paces this weekend, I can't wait!

Tent mounted up and ready for action. I got to use it this past weekend and we had some pretty high winds, the heavy canvas is awesome! No flapping around or snapping, by far the quietest tent I have slept in, and it stays nice and dark inside when it's all buttoned up. Thanks again Ace!

Glad it's working out well for you. Sold my Escape on Monday and he is very happy too.

Here's my new RTT.
