Great for snorkels! It's got a scratch on the top of it (pictured) where I caught a tree branch. It's fully functional and catches a lot of dust, while being easily serviceable in the field.
I had this on my troopie and had great results in air flow (it breathed better than my OEM snorkel head, which was obvious at higher RPM's) and was able to save my engine filter from doing a lot of work, especially in eastern WA.
I know this can be adapted for Safari snorkels, I've seen a few write ups on it. I had mine on an OEM Toyota snorkel and had a small rubber gasket (included) for a super tight fit.
