1994 Land Cruiser Dark Emerald Pearl w Factory Options Alloy Wheels, Locking Diffs w ABS, Grey Leather Power seats, Privacy Glass, Power tilt/slide glass moonroof, gold package, burlwood dash. My brother bought this new, I got it 6 years ago. 152K miles. No offroad. It just passed complete NJ State Inspection in December, even with the problem listed below.
Here are the problems, one biggie:
I determined it has a blown Head Gasket. we are losing antifreeze thru the tailpipe. The oil and Trans fluid look clean. It runs rough at idle for a few minutes, then clears up. We are driving the car a few miles per week.
Check Engine light is ON, and oil light comes on at some times (seems to be a known issue).
There is a crease in rear quarter panel and small dent in driver door and small ding in same rocker panel. Some minor scratches on side.
Seam is split on passenger seat. Some of the burlwood inserts are dried out and delaminating.
Normal wear and tear.
I am looking for a fair price. I would not turn down $6K- gotta start somewhere - but I'm willing to be reasonable as I determine what the value of this vehicle is. Got a nice vintage guitar to offer me? (pre 1970), lets make a deal (guitar and cash to me - wife would not have it the other way)
