really really really dont want to sell but dont want to fix and/or replace with another 3.0, and cant afford a 3.4swap right now.

GOODS:
good 5spd
name brand rear 3" springs (cant remember who there silver, pro lift maybe?)
trail-master front 3" lift kit (dropped diff and all)
Mickey Thompson polished 16" wheels
almost new Kumho A/T's 265/75R16's
decent tan interior
**clears 33's perfect even when full compress/extension**

BADS:
usual rust on both rear bog legs
rust spot on drivers door
rockers starting to rust

this thing wheeled awesome! in Jan of 2010 after only having a USED 3.0 w/206,xxx for about a day we drove down to texas for the jamboree. For not having any locker/LSD/spool etc. this thing worked awesome and always has driven great. Got decent milege for a lifted suv (14-19)

truck with wheels/tires $2000 obo
w/o wheels/tries $1400 obo

may be willing to trade as I just need a decent driver.

Towing can be setup within a state away as long as you pay for diesel.

I remember seeing this thing down there at the Jambo....man, that was a sloppy-cold weekend!

I remember you dropping into that big washout following a white 80. Good stuff. It was cold for me coming from Louisiana at the time. Now that I'm up here, I better get used to it again!

Good luck on the sale.

That be it....thought it was an 80 for some reason.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm in two of those pictures. It was my buddy Josh that pulled you through in the camo 4runner and my buddy John in that big red beast.

bump!

motor is pulled, want it out of my driveway

make offers!...seriously...anything

I think we traded text over the weekend about your 4Runner -- I'm in Cedar Falls.

Anyway, have you looked inside the motor at all? How bad was the hydrolock? Bent con rods? Worse? I wonder if a cheap rebuild kit would work on the motor?

Thanks!

Dave

yah we might have.

the motor might be able to be rebuilt...but its not worth it

If I had the money I would just find a good 4.3 GM v6 and get an adapter bellhousing to this 5spd. Itd be much easier, much more reliable and to be honest the 3.0 is one of the worst toyota motors to work on...ever.

Im in waterloo if you want to stop by give me a call or text Im only in town til friday afternoon then Ill be gone for a week tho
