I have an honest rust bucket beater for sale. There is not a piece of body work that does not have seriuos rust on it. Runs well though. About 216,000 miles on it, 80% were highway miles. I use it primarily in the winter for the four wheel drive and about once a week now.
A/C does not work.
Brake cylinders leak. I top off every third gas fill up or so.
Brakes are very worn.
Interior is decent.
Engine probably needs a rebuild but I would personally drive it till it dies.
When the alt died it took out the fusible link with it, melting it bad. Replaced with a Chrysler type fusible link soldered in its place. Works well.
New starter.
New Alternator.
Would be good as a cheap beater for daily driving. As a drivable parts rig or as a donor frame to make a cusotm trail rig.
