83 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60
250k, miles, original 2F rebuilt some 100k ago. 4spd & 4x4 work great. Starts like a champ. Runs & Drives great. Was my daily driver until the new pickup & has not been driven much since (2 yrs). Tan interior is in OK shape. Dash etc is in good shape. Driver's side seat worn through like every other FJ60. Minimal rust in the usual rear fender wells but not too bad. Some dings & scrapes that are not unexpected on a Cruiser this age.
I’ve done a lot of maintenance & kept meticulous records since I’ve owned it (2000) & I tried to compile the history from what came with the truck.
Good stuff:
Rebuilt front axle / knuckles: inspected, new seals, greased, diff fluid
Brake overhaul: new fr rotors, pads, master cyl, fresh bleed, rebuilt calipers
New steering damper & tie rod ends
Cooling system flush & new coolant hoses
New diff/tranny/xfer case fluids
New air pump
Many new oil seals
New starter
Newer battery
Semi recent tune: (PCV valve, fuel filter, new rotor, dist cap, plugs, carb flush, BG additives, etc)
Caveat:
It currrently fails Boulder County emissions & I don't have the time to look into it. Maybe take outside of Boulder County? (e.g. Weld, among others, has no emissions requirements)
The red paint is sun-faded & there’s a big ‘splash’ on the hood visible in photos.
Interior is in decent shape, drivers side seat is torn (all of them are).
Otherwise this trucks starts, runs, drives great & has been very dependable.
Dropped the price from $1800 to 1500$. This is a classic legend that I’m sad to let go. Email with questions and I have more photos upon request. I can take specific photos if desired. Call me at 303-668-5994.
