I see you sell transmission rebuild kits. Do you have or know of any v/b only gasket kits availible for a a442f full hydrolic 1990 vintage for a diesel spec 80 series that has criuse control. Sorry for the off topic thread but tried pm ing you but don't know if it went through cause didn't here back. Thanks I advance.

I retired from the transmission industry 8 years ago to start Valley Hybrids .....

But you can call one of my old co-workers, john at Transtar (510) 553-0111

If he can't help you, then try Michael at Westcoast Cruisers.

Here to help

Hi Georg,

Would this pump fit and "work" for a 1992 1HZ motor? I'm assuming physically it would fit but not sure if this thing needs a certain ECM or something to control. Are you able to confirm this? Thanks in advance, I would be interested in this pump. Can you also confirm that it is a 12mm pump, I like the idea of more performance as well. My 1HZ motor is turbo'd

The injection lines on the 1HDT/FT/FTE are thicker than on the 1HZ, and the connections to the injectors are 17mm instead of 14 (or 12?) for the 1HZ. You will need reducers there. Pump pressure is quite different too.
However, I have no idea if it would work.

Thanks for the info, your right I would probably have to replace injectors, the springs would be too light, I was also wondering about the electronics involved. I was planning on replacing the lines as well and maybe it would be just a good upgrade to get larger lines, thanks for the info

The FTE pump won't work for your application mainly because it is controlled by and ECU

I have talked to one fellow who directly bolted up a FT pump to his 1HZ and is having no issues running it.

TheBigBoy (XXi Industries) is getting performance pumps built up. You will need a core for both the pump and injectors. This may be a route but if you don't have a property suited turbo for this 12mm pump you could run into issues with your egts/AFRs.

It's probably not worth your time to get a 12mm pump built if your only running 10lbs of boost too....

Something to consider researching.

Thanks Foreal,

I agree I would have too change out my injectors as well and this would be a lot of cost just to replace the pump, thanks for the info,
