Mileage: 138,588 (lots to go on this engine, at least another 100k)
Last major service was in 11/2006, at the Truck Shop, in San Diego, CA.
Work performed: $1200 major tune-up (see below)
The Good:
Tested & passed CA Smog - 12/2006
Oil & filter change - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Spark plugs/wires change - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Valve Adjustment - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Checked suspension - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Checked Radiator/Cooling System - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Replaced Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Dist. cap & rotor, checked & replaced - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Drive Belts, checked & replaced - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Checked for intake leaks - None, 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Replaced Both Rear Wheel Cylinders - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Replaced Rear Transmission Oil Seal - 11/2006 (Truck Shop)
Transfer oil changed - 02/2006
Diff. oil changed - 02/2006
Fuel Pump replaced - 02/2006
Carb rebuilt - either 2005 or 2006
The Bad:
Front Brakes @ 35%
Front Driver Side Inner Axle Oil Seal Leak
Rust - near roof, both rear wheel wells, hood (minor), tailgate
Front Bumper - missing end caps
Fuel gauge doesn't move
Windshield wipers blow fuse consistently
Interior - driver's seat rip , headliner rips (minor), rear carpet (old), instrument trim panel is broken(due to break-in and stereo stolen)
Needs new tires
Power steering leak(minor)
Emergency Brake cable is seized
Unfortunately, I've got to sell her, due to my upcoming wedding, among other things. When I got her back, I thought I'd have the time to invest in fixing her up, but with new job and wedding/honeymoon approaching quickly, I don't have the time, much less the energy. My loss is your gain. Since getting her to the Bay area, we haven't driven her at all. All Factory Manuals included.
