real quick question:

I am having one heck of a time getting the passenger side front swaybar cushion bolts off
the bolt is rounded off and none of my wrenches will stay put on it to apply the correct amount of torque to spin it. a socket will fit and catch but I cannot get a socket wrench between the torsion bar and the bolt.

if I can get the truck on a lift will the torsion bar droop an inch so I can get access or will I have to remove the torsion bar?

also if I'm removing the torsion bar do I have to remove the whole thing or can I just unbolt the front of it and let it hang while removing the sway bar bolt?

I have replaced all the hardware on my front and back swaybars due to living in the rust belt. I used and impact wrench to removed those from what I remember. Just another thought.

You don't have to, but it makes it easier. You can lift one side at a time and manipulate the sway bar enough to get them. Or if you have access to a lift that might work too.

You definitely don't need to remove the torsion bar. A crowfoot socket might help in a tight spot.
