Anyone popped off this front plastic on the passenger seat?

I’m thinking of mounting an Element 50 here and thought removing this would make mounting the Element 50 clips easier. I hate just prying and pulling on plastic interior parts without knowing for sure how they are clipped in.

Why not just use some 3M double sided body trim tape and tape the Element 50 clips directly to that plastic on the front of the seat? I'm thinking about doing just that on the front of the Driver's seat. The Element 50 and the clips are so light weight, it should work just fine.

Just a thought.

Good idea. I'll try that. if the clips pull off then I can figure out screw them in place then.

I doubt that piece just pulls off. On the LX anyways, all of the trim pieces for the base are screwed on. I can tell you it only takes 10 minutes to unbolt the seat, then you can tilt it back. You may be able to get your hand back there. Alternatively a small butterfly nut may work. I’d probably unbolt the seat and check for clearance though.

Yep. And it requires a lot more disassembly of the seat than you would expect.
