Has anybody been able to get these recently? They fit 12V FJ60/62, but don't have soft rubber housing that rots out quickly.

From an old thread:

L and R sides (did not run EPC to see which is which). Sorry, no pic, but they look like the ones Bruce shows above.

They are spec'd for 24V trucks and the light assy ships with a 24V bulb. The light fixture is much higher quality. Swapping in a 12V bulb makes it fit all FJ60/70.

Thanks Beno.
Bummer that only the RH side is available. Woulda made more sense to disco the shatty 12V fixtures and supercede all to the better 24V fixture.

Had a set of those in my parts stash for a couple years that i got on ebay new.
Like you said, it makes no sense why they even made the junk plastic base models when all you have to do is swap the bulbs for 12V.

Yes, that's the only reason I know about them, is buying a few pairs off the Ebay vendor a few years ago.

They are identical to the rear lights, except for the lens color. I thought maybe the cheap front lens could be glued to a rear housing, but the 2 are slightly different shapes, so the hybrid fixture doesn't look right.
