Front jack point with ARB skid plates

Hello,
I just installed ARB skid plates. The OEM skid plate has this support puck that reaches up to the cross member for jacking but the ARB plate just has a gap there. Is it safe to jack in the same place on the thicker ARB plates or should I find a different Jack point?

Don't jack there. It's one of the things I don't like about my ARB skids. I just resort to jacking under each lca now that I have them installed.

Agreed. Definitely don't support the vehicle just by the skid plate.

I wonder why ARB left that feature out. Does it make the plate fit more applications?
