Front Bumper: from ARB back to stock

I'm looking at taking an 06uzj with an ARB front bumper installed by the PO and converting it back to a stock configuration. It looks like the bottom part of the bumper bracket is removed during the process of installing the ARB.

Has anyone done this?

I am pretty sure the frame horns have been cut off to install that ARB. If so, you may need to have new ones welded back on in order to remount an oem bumper. Not 100% positive though.

You must cut the frame horn to install the ARB on pre 03. I suspect the same is true of the newer models. It can be welded back on.

ARB combination bar requires the cut. Sahara? Not sure.

Thanks for the replies and offers. The ARB was on a rig I was going to put an offer in on today. Another member of Mud beat me to the punch. He got a nice rig for a good price.
