I have doing some reading about doing a SOA and hysteer. I have front disc brakes but the small knuckle pattern and have read that you should upgrade to the larger one. I would also have the expence of CNT and moving spring perches would probally use proffits kit. I have found a front axle out of a 80's toyota pickup this would have the larger knuckle pattern and already have to spring perches on top. What issues would I run into or is this a pretty straight forward swap? The axle is about 150 miles from here so I just thought I would ask before making a trip. Also would I be loosing strenght? Any help would be great.

What you'd get with a mini truck swap is a wider but weaker axle, probably not a good swap in it's entirety. What would be good though, is stealing the knuckles from the mini and swapping them to your cruiser, those are the wide pattern knuckles you're looking for

Thanks that is what I was looking for. Was not sure on width or strenght.

Chances are you could probably sell the third member, inner and outers, etc. from the axle you buy and make a large majority of your $ back.
