Just came back from some mild 4x4'ing and there seems to be an issue with the front passenger CV axel (i'm guessing). Driving straight and at any speed including freeway (on the way home), everything feels fine. When making sharp turns, it feels like something is interfering with the front passenger wheel. Driving straight it's fine. It looks like some fresh grease is on the tie rod and lower control arm. Boot looks fine.
When I turn the wheel full lock to the right, the lower front passenger end is lowered by a couple inches. Very noticable. When wheels are straight or full lock left, everything looks level. This is definitely beyond my expertise and I'm taking it to the mechanic tomorrow.

Does any of these symptoms make sense? I tried searching and couldn't find anything. I've never had an issue like this, so I'm not even sure how to describe it properly.

Thanks in advance!

Pro Tip: make sure to turn off your center diff lock when done wheeling.:frown:
(to my credit, the indicator light on the instrument panel wasn't working)

Need more information with details. Center differential lock on or off after running off road? Age of axle shafts and maintenance. Don't trust indicator lights.

I left the Center Diff Lock on after off-roading. Turning it off fixed the "issue". Center diff lock works great. The indicator light does not.
