Front Axle and ball joints Bad (1 Viewer)

Hi ya'll new member. looking for a difficulty with replacing the Front axles and ball joints in my 1998 taco. I've got tools and know how to use them, but is it difficult?

The axle isn't too bad...CV Axle Replacement on 3rd Generation 4Runners and Tacomas. Which BJs are bad...upper, lower or both?

Be sure to get OEM ball joints. i have had some bad luck with aftermarket ones.
Changing them is no big deal really. i have done it twice on the trail.

Ball joints and Axle

The upper ball joints I know Are bad. but after 266000 milles the lower one have to be bad as well. Is there a Press that I would have to use? is there any special tools I have to use to get the job done with the Axles or the Ball joint?
