Simple Q....riding stock height. Want to take off the corner pieces to my front and read stock bumper for clearance. Do or Don't? why?

Sam...

You've seen my cruiser.... DO IT... Running stock front bumper shaved and tapered down, the plastic corners only get in the way. Once removed you can cut back what you don’t need and angle the cuts inward. The only thing keeping you from cutting it back to the frame is the AC dryer. As far as the rear goes, again just plastic corners, they are not going to do much in an accident and certainly hinder off-road clearance. Run this until you have a reason for a bumper, i.e. tire carrier, winch ECT...

My 2 cents.

Ammo--do you have a pic of your cruiser you could post?

Sam,
In principle I agree with Matt but since you said you're running stock height I'd say if you know you are going to just ditch them eventually I'd leave them on. My reasoning is that they are plastic and will bend and get gouged when they hit but won't really mess up the sheet metal on your truck. So I use them more like "feelers" to let me know when I'm getting close to something. They really do bend in quite a bit.

And Matt, you can do Junk's mod to raise the AC drier nearly 3". I'll show you Sunday if you go up to Gorman.

Interesting ammo. I might just have to take the other front bumper corner off to match the one i knocked off last weekend. Doesn't look too bad. Did you paint that bumper black?

Sweet looking Cruiser Ammo! Very nice.

Nice cruiser,

Whats that big decal on the hood? I have a large sunspot on mine and am looking to cover it up for now...

Hey Matt,

Nice pics. Curious where in Big Bear you were?

nyk438,

-That's a Grade 8 Bolt Head, its part of the LINK MOTORSPORTS logo, it's laid over a flat black center on the hood, and the back eliminates the glare of those 4 hella's....

blupaddler,

-The shot shown here at night was just some fire roads, right on Big Bear. The webshots pic's are of Gold Mine or is it Gold Mountain... can't remember witch it is
