Hey guys, just bought a pair of Radflo coilovers from MetalTech, which came with 600 pound springs. To get a 2.5 inch life (22' from center of hub to fender lip) I had to preload the spring to show 3 inches of thread at the top of the coilover.
After doing a bit of research on the web it seems like the max recommended is 1.75-2.0 inches of preload so I ordered a new set of 700 pound springs. After the install of the new springs I was able to get a 2.5 inch lift with only 2 inches thread showing and the ride actually improved... guess preloading the springs past 2 inches really messes with the ride quality. Anyway, thought I would share my experience.
