Still need to move axle back 2.5 inches. Should I center, or go half an inch forward to allow for movement under compression?

Rear axle moved back, looking much better

Front body mounts, pain in the ass but I think they turned out ok. Still have to finish welding them up.

Looking good. Are you setting all the mounts without spacers? It seemed like my doors would not fit well with the frame unbolted to the tub, then when I bolted it down it twisted the tub "square" so the doors fit well. I am no expert; however, my plan was to put the doors on when I got to this phase, and see if I needed to move mounts up or down to get the fit right?

I am sure there is some way to X out the tub to make sure it is square, but I am not smart enough, and as I said before my concrete floor is not even close to flat.

I am setting with no spacers, if I run into issues I will add some metal where needed to the mounts. Never thought about mounting doors first, I have not burnt in the middle mounts so may hang doors and see how they fit

Mount up the windshield too. That is where you typically see the issue.

I was going to say have someone hold it in place, you really are just lookking for the top gap... however, because you are going to widen it, that gives you flexibility to alter it to fit the door when you widen it.

Figured might as well check fit for top as well, definitely going to need adjustment, but I think the doors and hinges will be able to take those. Overall really pleased with how square everything is turning out, and the 5 inches wider was the right call

Looks great! Not nearly as big as I think everyone was expecting it to be from the very first photos you had posted! Really a sweet project. Looking forward to seeing more progress!

How does front axle fore/ aft look? Debating moving it back an inch or 2

Maybe an inch. It'll move back as the suspension cycles.

Awesome, it will stay there then. I will need to move steering gearbox forward 1.5 inches then. Should be easier than moving axle
You might not need to move it. I'd test fit with a PVC draglink and see what it looks like.
