Hi All, :flipoff2:

The switch that controls the fridge between the front two seats has broken.
Local Toyota dealer is quoting long delivery times. Does any one have any wiring details of the switch. I then might be able to temporarily wire it on until the new switch arrives. I've looked in the Haynes manual, and searched the forum, but can't find any details.

Thanks

Rob

I need it to keep my:beer:cool !

Damn you,
Damn you to hell :flipoff2:

We are not cool enough to have the fridges in our trucks so sorry no help here. just jealousy.

Ok Rob when did poms start drinking cold beer with their fish and chips? ;)
How many wires coming out of it and what series landcruiser is it?,HDJ 80 ect

Hi

Its a HDJ81V, and there are 4 wires on the switch connector block.

Thanks
Rob

P.s Your a bit out of date, the national dish is now CURRY! Chicken Tikka Masala, to be precise, but we do like tins of the Aussie "Amber nectar" to go with it.

Robb I had a look in both my manuals and could find no reference to fridges
Im surprised as I thought aussie cruisers had fridges as an option in the 61/62 series.
Maybe the Toyota dealer could help out with the wiring code for a temporary fix.

Also whats the difference between an 80 and 81.We dont get 81 or 101 series in oz.

Aussie beer and chicken tikka masala, thats real British empire food :D.
Dont mind the curries myelf but the local resturants charge about 3 times as much as what you pay. :-[
