Wanted to share this ...

Well I have been busy refreshing my Yota, here is a quick list:

Replaced AC system, compressor, dryer, condenser and high pressure hose, now blows cold.
Tune up, motor oil & tranny fluids changed
Limo tint in rear and 30% on front windows
Had 2-din pioneer stereo installed with rear view camera, after replacing the speakers myself sounds great.
Sanded and painted flat black all 3 wiper arms and rusty hitch, painted Toyota letters on front grill white.
Zip tied shaky mirrors now they are good
Had cracked windshield replaced

Things still to do
Find sone used 285/75/16 tires
I feel comfortable with the height and may just replaced all 4 shocks with new ones
May paint the front grill flat black

Does the addiction ever stop?

Looks pretty clean...how many miles?

If you planning to replace the shocks, the OME 2.5" lift comes up for sale in the classifieds. Might find a good deal on shocks and a small lift too?

Keep the pics coming

No the addiction doesn't stop...it actually get worst as you read, research, and install mods.

I'm constantly thinking over what's next...it a good problem to have :)

Thanks guys!
Yota has over 300k miles, motor feels real strong and tranny feels slow between 1st & 2nd gear but not sure if it's normal or will need to be rebuild sometime in the future.

The addiction keeps me active and away from the couch which is a good thing.

I have been checking the classifieds for a used 2.5" ome lift so let me know if anyone finds one.

It does feel strong and smooth on the highway specially after balancing all 4 tires.

Painted those faded brake light frames today.
I used a Krylon spray in semi gloss black can from Autozone and a scotch brite.

It turned out better than expected....

thanks,
the front will be done this weekend with clear corners.

Time to get rid of the Amber
Clear corners and painted grill
Let me know what you think.

I even went lower with the black paint to get the clear turn signals to stand out a bit!

While at the junkyard I found these front leather seats of a Toyota solara which I managed to negotiate for $150.
Now I just gotta found find a way to install them.

Installed the universal arm rest thanks to another member here in the forum.
Lots of great knowledge here that makes it easy for guys like me to do the mods.

To give the arm rest support I used the existing bracket that the side cup holder uses, just modified it a little. Here are the pics...
