I just replaced the seven pin tow/brake connector on my 2010 Land Cruiser.

I’ve been dragging my feet on this for a year, thinking that it was going to be ridiculously difficult with all the rust that comes along with launching boats in saltwater.

It actually was ridiculously easy, though I’m not sure how much longer that would be the case.

Ordered the part off, eBay per one of the posts on this forum, and the process weny about a smooth as I could have ever wished for.

Would highly recommend doing this to anybody who frequently launches boats in saltwater.

Once a month at least some times twice. I will have to take a look at mine and confirm how it is doing. My launch does not have tires touching water and I unplug lights every time before I dunk the trailer and don't hook them back up till after reload just before head for home. I recently started adding wax to carpet on bunks and boat slide off easy peasy and loads easy.

CRC Corrosion spray is electrical safe and offers good protection in marine testing.
