I have some stuff that is up for grabs

Two gas tanks - both are useable, especially if you got them resealed but maybe even as is.

Running boards - one small rust spot

Tunnel Cover - can be used to fix another rusted in different places

WS frame from a 75 - has rust but ideal to cannibalize for parts to fix another one rusted in different places

misc small parts, brackets, etc

Come and get it or it goes to the dump!

Would either of the gas tanks work as an aux fuel tank under the bed of a 1978 fj40? if so i'll pick one up from ya.

They will not work as an auxiliary tank, but the will replace your stock tank.

Marksoffroad.net has a great auxiliary tank made of cross linked poly = Thornton runs one in his rig.

No, I have a newer style one. I also have a tire carrier that is the mirror image of the one on your truck so that you could run two, one on each side.

Thanks for checking Stum, I'm looking for the older style to put on a M416 to match the 40. I've already modified a righthand 40 tailgate latch and made it lefthand so I've got Toyota style latches on the tailgate. I'm also going to put a set of tail lights to match. Too much time on my hands I guess.
