Once in a while there is a chucking frenzy around the shop. The other day was some 70 series front and rear leaf packs from a JDM BJ71 we parted. They are perfect for a SOA, and have the teflon pads in between the leaves. A bunch of sway bars were also chucked and is in the bin.

Come and pick them up of you have a use, just ask Sheldon or I to meet for property access.

I think there is a rear 60 housing from an HJ in the bin right now too.

Thre rears are the same as a 60...pin placement and length. It will move your axle rearward. The fronts are different then the 60 or 40's. I think it moves your axle forward a tad, but do not recall how much. You would have to work around the large eye bushings, as your 40 has the small eyes mounts. I know there is a way to do it, but do not have the details. I think Charla's BJ42 has 70 springs front and rear, so Bruce or Charla would have the details on how much they move your axles.

Charla's 42 actually has 60 series stuff but Shaker was running 70 fronts at both ends. It positions the front axle way forward. All of this big eye stuff is a bit of a challenge to use on a small eye truck though. I'd really like those springs for my SO BJ60. I have some Beltons but I really don't want that much lift.

FJ40s work really well with FJ55 rears.

Well, ya need to wrastle Bruce for the springs. He posted first, so by rights they are his...Cept how to get them to Alta? :)

What diff?

Bruce, you can have mine if you need em.

Stones roof rack from his BJ74 is now in the bin too, if anyone wants to salvage it.

Springs and 60 rear axle tube gone. Bunch of sway bars if people need round stock, and Stones BJ74 roof rack left.
