A coworker went to check on his property that's right along 126 last weekend. He didn't have any squaters, yet. He said they are all along the road that goes up to San Gregorio. He figured there were a good 1,000 people up there at that point. He also estimated that every law enforcement officer in the state was there as well with roadblocks and drug dogs. Might be an interesting sight to see, as long as you can keep the windows up and the A/C on recirc to avoid the B.O., Patchouli and Pot odors.

They're apparently about 10 miles in is all - to the Gregorio turn off and north from there. To get to our place you go another 10 miles or so beyond the Gregorio turn off, the total mostly paved. We're even on the other side of the most remote cabin area - the Wetherill community.
I'm not concerned about them. You can come in via La Cueva from SF/LA, or Coyote from the north as well.

It's not the hippies - it's the scum that follows them around... If only 1% are scum, that's still over 100 people roaming around the countryside looking to break in and steal stuff...
