Fred Anderson Parts Quote Request on club website

I spoke with Chris @ Fred Anderson about setting up a simple form on our website to get parts quote requests. The form is complete and tested and ready for use.

You must be logged in to see the form! Once logged in, there is an item in the left menu, "Parts Quote" - click that, complete the form, and voila! (Club website is in my signature.)

I forget but is this only for people in Raleigh? I called two different parts places for a transfer switch the other day. 84 at one dealer and 95 at the other just up the road. You think in the dealerships they would have some database. I know they are all paying the same price. I wanted to get from Fred Anderson but by the time I drove an hour north and an hour back the part would have to be free to make it worth my time. Do they do drop shipping or anything like that. On this small of a part it couldn't have been much more than a george washington to get it to my front door and every place I called didn't stock the part.

On the form, there is an option to get a shipping request, so this is not limited to those in the Raleigh area. Quotes through this form receive the club discount.

Yeah they will ship. Had some parts shipped to me already. Best thing is to plan near a meeting and see if someone in the area can get it for you.

I know Rick Hendrick will ship for me. Have never used it so not sure on shipping charges.

I am not trying to pimp this, but if you need parts please consider using this form!

I just used the form for the 2nd time and the process is painless and quick! (esp for someone who is more email-centric than voice)

Of course, it is simple because of Chris: he attends to the requests right away, and gets straight to the info that is needed. On my current order, he replied to my request with P/N's and prices + total in his 1st email.
