I've got a couple of LCs and am looking to get into a 05-07 Sequoia.

I saw one at a local auction which said "loose front end" so I went to take a look at it, thinking maybe the strut got stuck compressed.

So, we go look at it. And yes, the front end is "loose" - as in, loose from the frame. The rust was beyond horrendous, the inside and outside sides of the frame rails had very little connecting them from the first crossmember back to the back doors. The section by the front wheel had broken completely free and was hanging about 3 inches. In addition to that, the dealer had done a lot of obvious cover ups to the body rust. Needless to say, it was a hard pass. So my question is - has anyone on here had the frame replaced under the factory recall? The rest of this was a scrap heap, but wondering if it would be worth it to buy one with rust issues if it will be replaced under recall. TIA.

Thanks - this one has so much else going on, I am not going to mess with it but that's a thought if the right one comes along.
