frame ground under A/C compresser

I am trying to replace the negative battery cable and need some info on what the trick is to removing/installing the frame ground end of the cable that is located under the A/C compressor. Do I have to remove the compressor? Any tips would be appreciated.

it doesn't take long to remove the compressor...no need to un-hook it.

just ground it someplace else on the frame, much easier
