My 2002 front wheels skip and make noises when CDL is NOT activated. Especially when wet. But when I turn on the CDL it gets really bad so you will definitely feel the difference when comparing.

Depends on your needs. If you need a highway cruiser, then a part time system might be better. You bought a highly capable 4x4 that is enjoyable to drive while maintaining an incredible track history for reliability. Enjoy it for what it is.
