Your pictures are probably to big. Try to resize them. Depending on the software you are using.. To resize pictures go to editing software and click on image resize and then put in the size 600 mega pixels in the width. The other dimension will set automatic. then save as the new size. Don't delete your orginal picture as it is a higher resolution.
If you have a bunch of pictures to resize, Keep in mind I use Adobe photo shop, go to File and select batch processing. From there you follow the prompts to select the file where the photos are located. Then select the size of teh pictures, same as above, then select the format to save, JPEG and then select the file to save them in. Click start and it will process all of your pictures toa smaller size at once.
There are other softwares available on the internet to do teh same batch processing.
The below is from IH8MUD:
To attach a file (picture) to a new post, simply click the [Manage Attachments] button at the bottom of the post composition page, and locate the file that you want to attach from your local hard drive.
Only certain types of files may be attached: these are the valid file extensions for files to be attached to this forum: gif jpeg jpg.
After posting, the image attachments may display a thumbnail, depending on the forum settings. To view the contents of the attachment (if it is not already displayed) simply click the filename link that appears next to the attachment icon.
The picture file size is limited. Please see below. It is best to resize pictures before trying to post. If a picture will not upload, resize it smaller as 640 x 640 is the max JPEG. 600 on the width works well.
gif 48.8 KB 640 640
jpeg 87.9 KB 800 800
jpg 87.9 KB 800 80
You can also email a few pictures, about 3 at a time in large format, anc I can post them for you. I will send you a PM with my email address.
Sounds like you guys had a great trip and cold.
