Found two winches at the Pawn shop

Two of my all time favorite winches are for sale at this pawn shop (see pic below). One is a Warn 8274 variant and the other is a RE-12000 spur gear winch. The Ramsey is rather large but it's a work horse of a winch and probably weighs a ton. Like the 8274 warm gear winch, it can't be back driven either but is super slow. The dude said that they both work (i don't think he knows) and the asking price is $400 but as always, cash talks.

I just finished rebuilding an 8274 that I bought for cheap off of Craigslist. Super easy to re-build with the instructions in the Winch sub-forum here on Mud. I would offer the pawn shop about half of that for it, if it were me. Good find for anyone looking for a great winch for a 40.

i think either winches will fit the huge space that a 60 has. Given the weight of the 60, I'd lean toward the Warn winch. Not only does it look uber cool, it also is mondo fast!!
