Found this 2001 modded 4-runner on my recent quest for a new rig.

Tom's auto sales has an 01' 4-runner with TRD supercharger, proper URD feul mods, ARB rear locker OME lift. Skid row skids, and looked like all-pro sliders. That was the good the bad was 3" bodylift! 4wd not engaging and leaky exhaust, also hood wouldn't latch. Body and underside looked clean though. Ended up getting the one pictured instead. VERY clean and unmolested! With a perfect history. I love a blank canvas!

Dang, Looks like mine! What are the specs on the one you bought? Probably very close to mine. Would love to mod mine, but I am not sure how soon I will be able to. Why a 3rd generation 4Runner?

What? Kurt you have a Thunder Cloud Metallic sport? It has about every option except leather and heated seats. I picked the 3rd gen because I think it's the best model 4-runner so far. The new ones are to big for my liking. That's one of the reasons I didn't like the newer Tacoma's they are not compact anymore.

Doc these will be on it someday. Shrockworks front along with sliders and a CBI rear bumper. Among other things.

The new ones are to big for my liking. That's one of the reasons I didn't like the newer Tacoma's they are not compact anymore.

I am not sure what the technical color name of mine is. It's a 2000 Limited. Has the standard limited options including leather and an e-locker. One thing it doesn't have that most have is the keyless entry and security system. Here's a snow wheeling picture.

Nice yours looks like it's just plain silver and doesn't have the hood scoop. I tried ti find a nice 4-runner with the e-locker around here but just couldn't. I'll get an ARB eventually.

Correct, no hood scoop on mine and probably basic silver. Most of the Limited 4Runners I found and see have the E-locker. Here's a little better picture.

Armorology makes a nice bumper as well, which is shown in the 2nd picture.

I also like the DeMello Tacoma bumper, which is modified in the 3rd picture to fit a 3rd generation 4Runner.

yeah i think the Armorology bumpers are the nicest looking but.. I think he will only do bumpers with the vehicle at his shop. It's in Colorado Springs if I remember correctly.
