Are we doing the Fossil Creek clean-up this year?
If so, when will it be planned? My friend, Steve, was there last year with his wife and son, and enjoyed the weekend immensely. He was the guy with my old shortback Montero. Since then both his son and his daughter have bought Montero/Raiders, and have joined the off-road crowd.
They have a family favoritism towards the Fossil Creek area and want to join in a clean up weekend this year. They have asked me to find out when and if CSC will be working in the area. When CSC is at work, they want to be involved.
I also enjoyed the weekend and the clean-up work. It was great fun in spite of (or because of) the late-night quad crash! It was the one time that my 7 year old kid got to be a hero! She made s'mores for the stranded kids.
If we can arrange the clean-up weekend, I will bring plenty of firewood as I did last year. I have a couple of pallets of stuff that needs to be burned. It is stuff that has no value other than the charring of marshmallows. There is no need to forage for wood in the brush, I can bring scrap lumber to burn. There is no shortage.
