166k miles, asking $15,000. Needs timing chain tensioners, great build candidate, priced accordingly. Interior photos pending.

I'm getting moved back to Houston for work, and won't make sense to have this guy down there. Would like it to go to someone here near actual trails where he'll get used properly. Grey on grey, paint in good shape aside from some highway paint chips, interior in I'd say 6 out of 10 condition.

Cons first: Needs timing chain tensioners. Had planned to do that work myself but between a pretty serious heatstroke situation last spring followed by 6 months out of country, I didn't get to it. Don't necessarily have the time to do it at a dealership/mechanic, and then try and sell it out here in CO, so opting to take the hit on asking price. Also has probably a grapefruit sized dent drivers side on the rear bumper. Didn't fix it because I had bumper plans prior to the above events. No third row seats, I built a platform for drawers/car camping. Interior isn't perfect but nowhere near the worst I've seen. Very small tear starting in drivers seat, scratch on center console from my dog. Two very small spots where the Lexus hardwood veneer has started to chip off... made it 15 years, I'm not too mad. "Cheap" tires... I've run Atturos on three vehicles now, had great luck with them, wanted to run them again. Atturo Trail Blade XTs. Been up a bunch of rather rocky/chunky trails here in CO and they're in great shape. E rated, so they are heavy and are a soft compound. When it's cold out, they feel very slightly flatspotted until they warm up. I lived with it, but am pretty realistic that someone will probably want to change them out.

Pros: Winter of 2023: Trans fluid drain and fill with Valvoline MaxLife (NOT FLUSH), both diffs and transfer case drain and fill coolant valley plate reseal, coolant flush (Zerex Asain vehicle), new AHC globes all around and fluid exchange/bleed, Sankei 555 lower control arms installed (didn't want to have to drill LBJs). Radiator, spark plugs, some other items completed at Lexus North Houston in I think 2021 (I will dig up records for you, or you can call them with VIN number, whichever you're more comfortable with). Victory 4x4 engine and trans skid plates (steel), Prinsu roof rack, Icon something or another 18 inch wheels. Trusted this truck with my family and my dog, and would continue to do so if I weren't moving to one of the largest/most concrete sprawls in the country. Being honest, this truck either did cross-country hauls or trails, and pretty much sat around otherwise. Dual battery setup using Blue Sea components and Slee aux tray, with interior self-jump switch. 100W solar panel with solar charge controller, marine group 24 battery for house, group 31 Duracell for starter. Full size spare tire. Very little if any actual rust on the underside. Oil and filter changes every 3000-5000 miles. I also have a handful of parts that will go with the truck that I carried while offroad (two CV axles, fan clutch, thermostat, serp belt, tensioner).

Summary: Not perfect, but also not a project. I arrived at my asking price by looking at comparable mileage in good condition examples, and then subtracting the cost of the timing tensioner repairs and the cost of some new tires. Relatively firm, given that I've found rollovers with salvage titles going for $10k-ish at auction. I have a spreadsheet of the work I've done on the truck and timing of those items for tracking purposes, and receipts for the radiator work a couple years back.

Note: Answer to a question asked elsewhere, the house battery runs 4ga wire going to the platform in the rear with a 30amp fuse. Currently outs to a fuse block for switches, but ran 4ga so that I could run an inverter when needed.

Thank you all for the interest, pardon me if I wasn’t able to get to your message. Vehicle sold this evening. Hope to see yall on the trails the next time I’m in CO (with a rig).
