Having battery issues again so not monitoring anything except my cell 970-210-6006. Bugs have been annoying but they are not biting. A screen room would be nice.

Left camp at 10:30 heading up the jeep road that climbs to the ridge directly behind the camp. At the fork go right on the shelf road that climbs to the mesa top. This makes a big loop and returns to South River Road at the four way you passed coming in.

Shots of the moon rise last night.

More views of the gorge from Smith Mtn jeep road. I'm going to Delta to get beer and dog food and go back out to watch the moonrise again from an east facing view point.

Wouldn't you know it........by the time i got back it has gone and clouded over. But it's thin clouds so the viewing may still be ok. I still love to look at a moon when it's peeking through the clouds. Find it mesmerizing. Here is my easterly view.

And my later westerly views.

Went back to the Gunny today and did what I wished I could have done last weekend. This does qualify as off-roading. The last shot is my friend Todd getting some big air.

Awesome! I broke out my two man inflatable Kayak for the first time in three years when my nephew and family were visiting last month. We were just messing around in the reservoir at Ridgway State Park. Need to hit the water more often.

Looks like a great place to cool down Ace. After a few nights in the Auto Home what are your impressions?

Yeh, great run. Next time I'll do the rope swing (on FB) and really cool down.

Like the Columbus a lot. Maybe should have gotten the medium as its a bit snug with dog and I. Also would caution anyone considering this style that you might want the X-long if your over 5' 10", especially if your a back sleeper. Comfort is high but I'm messing around with memory foam and pads to soften it up a mite. Speed to set up is outstanding. Pop one latch, watch it rise up, set up the ladder, release the bungies that hold the tent in for folding, adjust windows and screens and its ready. Less than 5'. Ventilation is great too with three big doors/screens.
