My friend Brian is visiting from New Mexico so we went to run Fordyce yesterday. Last year when he came out we went up to the Rubicon, so this year he marked another trail off of his list (although he will be coming back with his own Jeep next summer). We camped out right at the trailhead on Wednesday night. We were hoping to camp further in to the trail at one of the great campsites but unfortunately his flight was delayed and he did not even land until 10 PM.
