Question is as follows, the tranny is a 2wd T19. Novak sells an adapter to go to a few tcases as well as Advance Adapters. I see a few options to make this work:
- Use a Novak adapter ($500) to mate the T19 tranny to a D300 transfer case ($300-400). Use a ford 9" centered rear axle. Problems with strength for light to mild wheeling?
- Use a divorced NP205 ($300) and run to a ford 9" centered.
- Buy a Chevy SM465/NP205 combo ($500), redrill the bellhousing to match the Ford. run a ford 9" centered. Is this possible? Read it was.
- Buy an adapter from AA ($615) to go from a T19 to a 16 spline TLC t-case. Add a t-case saver and get the same strength as my split case?
