No, the antenna wire is separate, just a cable coming from the antenna by itself.
Is it sort of like this? I can see where a connector like this would plug into the back of the Scion unit.

That's what you're looking for, the male end goes into the radio. I'd pull the windshield washer tank and see where the antenna connection is, being a 62 I would expect the antenna motor to be dead and maybe already replaced with an aftermarket one.
I just swapped out my rear speakers - in the event you are considering it, 6 1/2" speakers that are true 6 1/2", don't fit very well at all. I ended up having to remove the original metal standoff and speaker mounts and build boxes to fit behind the panel, and (dang it) drill small hole in my panels for the grill and such. A 6" or 6 1/4" will fit better.
