Hi guys!

I have a few items for sale. I will update this post as things are added to the list and as things are sold.

SOLD OR Bivy. If you don't know what a bivy is then you don't want it. OR (Outdoor Research) is one of the best brands. Ross doesn't like it and I don't fit so it is for sale.

Stihl 009L chain saw. Don't know the age but it runs great. I bought it used, cleaned it up, replaced the fuel line & filter, and did a tune up. It has a hard case with a few tools. $150.

John Deere chain saw. This saw is about the same size as the Stihl and it is a lot newer. It also has a hard case but no tools. $100.

SOLD Set of 5 BFG MT tires. Size is 305/70R16 (~33") One tire is about 2 months old and has never been on the ground (warranty replacement.) The other 4 have 15/32" tread measured in the center. Each tire was measured by Discount and marked when they were removed. I don't want to break the set.

SOLD 4 OME "Medium" springs. These are 851/860 and have been on my truck for about 4 years. I bought them new from Christo.

SOLD 4 OME "Heavy" springs. The front are 850j and the rear are 863. These are not new but they have never been on my truck. I bought them used and I *believe* the prior owner had them on his truck for about 2 years.

SOLD New MV-50 portable 12v Air Compressor. I will post a link to the review for these things. Pretty nifty if you want a way to air your tires or a backup to CO2. I have two for sale and both are still in the box. I'm keeping another for myself.

The remaining items will go to Craigs List this weekend. PM me if you want to make an offer. I am posting here in the club section first, then will put this stuff on Craig's List and 'Mud for a couple of weeks, then it goes to eBay.

On those portable compressors, have you used the one you are keeping to get a sense of how well it works or do you have any opinions for how good it would be for airing up my little 31" BFG A/Ts?

I discovered my current portable compressor isn't good for airing up vehicle tires. It just doesn't have enough volume. It's great for bicycle tires, powering 12VDC and 110VAC and has a nifty worklight though! The emergency jump starter doesn't even have enough juice to crank the 60 over.

I'd love to take the springs off your hands but I don't think they'd work on my truck since it's not an 80.

Thats a lot of stuff you have for sale there. Upgrading your toys?

Seems like we're always upgrading our toys. ;)

Marc,
The MV-50 is a great package for the price. Here is a review of the compressor. The MV-50 and the MF1050 are the same.

Quoting from the review: 72 liters per minute is 2.54 cfm. This compressor is not in the "cigarette lighter" league...draws some good amps.

Checker doesn't carry these anymore and I have read the price at Pep Boys is now $79.95 + tax and they are hard to find. I have not checked the local Pep Boys though.

Kajun is right, that is a lot of stuff all at once. I don't suppose you've changed course and you're gathering up pennies for something, from say Stuttgart?

No course change like that and Connie lets me drive her hot rod if I ask nicely. Pristine is just getting a few new toys.

I need to get some new toys myself. I tried ripping my front bumper off today, but I couldn't seem to "git r dun". Damn spotters are too experienced and wouldn't let me mess my rig up!!!

If it helps anyone, I have a PayPal account that you can pay with a credit card.

Added another chain saw to the list. I will only sell one or the other, not both.

Marc,

I use the same compressor to air up my 315's and I can do 4 315's from 12 to 32 in about 20 mins. This little compressor works very well for the price. I have had mine for about 2 years and used it dozens of times and it's still kickin' strong.

FWIW, I heard these are at Costco now...I can't verify, I go to Sam's.

The Costco web site shows a MF-1040 for $40 but it is only 40lpm. The MF-1050 (MV-50) is 72lpm. I can't find the bigger compressor on their web site so let me know if you find a link.

Ya gotta check the psi the lpm's are happening at. 40 lpm at 5 psi isn't squat...

Doesn't someone need a good chain saw? The mountain trails are gonna be a mess after all the snow this winter. :D

Graham,
Take a look at it on Saturday. I'm not sure which model it is. Probably closest match would be that Alpine bivy. It is not new but used very lightly. It has a hoop and some netting over the end.
