SOLD For Sale FJ45LV Quilcene WA
**SOLD **** (but not to me!
)
Not affiliated, although I'm going to have a look at it on Tuesday if it's not sold.
Asking Price was $2500.
1966 Toyota Land Cruiser
I phoned the owner (Russ) and he sounds like a great guy, very forthcoming about the issues with the truck as well as he sounds like he maintained it regularly. It's been sitting now for a couple of years, rust is starting to bubble through the new paint in places.
Partially restored about 6 years ago, rust cut out, new paint, reupholstered seats.
Last drivetrain in it was a 383 with 5speed. Drove it all the way to New York and back! Has put 50,000 miles on it since he has owned it. He also drives an FJ60.
Now has a 2F in it, but tranny isn't bolted up.
Disc brakes up front, stock semi-floater in the rear. Frame is good.
Sounds like a great deal for those (like me) who love these old trucks!
Challenge for me will be to bring it home as it's a non-runner at the moment.
If someone else gets it first, that's my loss....
