Built this truck for my daughter for her high school truck. 85 hilux 4x4 xcab, thoroughly gone through, refurbed as necessary, daily driver. As of two years ago, new paint to original color, new tires, new brakes, new headliner, new amfm CD Stereo, all new a/c and heat system, including new compressor and new heater core, new weber carb, new bedliner (sprayed), and new door and window weatherstrip, this year, new (not rebuilt) head, everything involved in top end rebuild including timing chain and tensioners. Last year of solid front axle. Truck shows 260k miles, engine was replaced at sometime, but po didn't remember details, it was his son's truck. It's been in Texas a long time, but don't know if it originated here. Rust is limited to a few very minor bubbles on bed and at the bottom of the tailgate. None on the body is perforated, and tailgate rust does not show to exterior. Has not been wrecked. Hard to find factory power steering and cold air. Needs knuckle seals. $4500.00 in Odessa, Tx. or near offer. Never off road since refurb.

I had a 1984 Hilux and wheeled it up to 13,150 feet above the sea in Telluride, Colorado. Unstoppable off road in my opinion, unless you encounter deep mud or ruts...
This 1985 is in GREAT shape...most of these get the royal beatdown, especially the interiors!
