Hi All -

Hoping that someone can help me figure this out.

I have a 2003 GX 470. Went to the locksmith to get a couple new fobs/keys. After several attempts, the locksmith was only able to get one fob working via controller interface. That is, he could not get a second fob to work.

I took the second fob home thinking I could get it working using the manual activation sequence (open/close door, key in ignition, etc.). No luck on that (the new one was not even recognized, and I found an old one laying around that would not register, i.e. the vehicle gave the double lock click saying it was not registered). I should add when I used the manual sequence, the locks clicked once (showing that only one fob is registered).

Anyone have any advice or experience? Would really love to get two or more fobs working.

Many thanks

Yeah $150 for an old s*** windows laptop, $50 for tech stream, $15 for cable is money well spent.

Which software/cable system did yall buy? Link?

I bought some trash Chinese hacked software off of ebay. Don't recall who from, it's been a couple years but they are all pretty much the same. It's all legit techstream with some hacked nonsense running in the background to make it work without requiring a registration code. For the cable, you'll need to make sure to get the right drivers for your computer. Again, I don't recall what these were.

Be sure to set it up for North America or you won't pick up the right ECUs.

The whole thing was not very plug and play but it did work after following the instructions provided. Did NOT work on my windows 10 machine I have through my employer. Needed an old Windows 7 machine.

Thanks. That's the one I was looking at. Hopefully my PC can run it.

That looks like the cable I have. It works. The seller of Techstream should include the USB drivers for the computer to be able to run that cable. You won't be able to just find them online easily.
