I got more done this weekend than I got done all last month. Still not as much as I’d like since the days are shorter, but it is what it is.
Epoxy primed and sprayed down first coat of 2K primer on the top side of the hood.
Primed and painted sliders
Cleaned the fuel fill compartment with this stuff that was recommended to me called Acryli-Clean, sanded the very good condition OEM paint with some 180 grit, primed, seam sealed, and painted (didn’t get finished pics)
Got somewhat of a start on running the wiring for the lights and rest of electrical needs under the hood so I can tape up the wiring and get it secured
Cleaned and sandblast prepped the new set of suspension u-bolts and slider u-bolts for Ceracoat, as well as the fuel fill neck. Looking forward to getting the fill neck and all the plumbing reinstalled for the long haul

Final color? Filler area looks like you may be going back to OEM red/white.

For those not sure what I'm talking about, The commercial version of that same air compressor comes with those two items already installed. Cooling the air before it hits the tank and keeping the tank drained will greatly reduce the amount of water in your system.. Ingersoll Rand charges a little over $1000.00 for those two items but they can be added to your air compressor for under $300
Nice compressor Dustin and happy belated birthday! I still need to get one around that size for my shop.
There are some low tech options for cooling that work well too - I ran my last one through a rack of copper plumbing and silica before painting anything.
