Awesome documentary...thanks for sharing your personal adventure! I'm sorry to see the last post but I have enjoyed everyone of them and have gone back to the beginning several times and probably shall do the same over and over again.

Thanks Archie, its because of your guilt trips that I finally typed this up.

Great writeup! I was just down in the GSENM a couple weeks ago. Cottonwood was closed from a washout, Alstrom Point was still awesome. It sounds like from there you went up the Kelly Grade to Left Hand Collet (both awesome). There is a coal seam fire still burning up there from a lightning strike (hundreds? thousands?) of years ago. Just before Collet hits Hole in the Rock Rd is a Dinosaur track raceway, with lots of great footprints in sandstone hills. HITR road is still too washboard.. enough to keep me from checking it out fully, but we did make it to Spooky Gulch which was sweet. I'd wanted to hit the Burr Trail from there and some of the other areas near Powell you guys saw, but we headed up into San Rafael Swell area instead. Too much to see! Kudos for doing such a long trip from Florida. Love the exhaust fix.

Esh that was a great write, I fully agree with you about wanting to go back to Utah and spend a lot more time. There is so much to see, and so many little things you miss that are right next to you. Really sweet 62 by the way.
Thanks

Awesome write up! We did the cross country trip last year from OR to FL... Looking forward to doing it again. Loved the write up, should have been a TT article!
