1976 4sp transfer case with Marlin Crawler gears (I believe). It is mounted to a GM NV4500 via Advanced Adapter, all behind a tbi 350. All for sale
- 1976 4sp transfer case $1400
- GM NV4500 $1500
- TBI 350 out of a 1997 Caprice (97k miles when pulled). Best guess is approx 130k on it now. Ran great when removed; however, I striped a coolant fitting on the intake, so intake is current off and needs repair.
$450

Hello, did you pull the engine and trans from your FJ? How many miles on the transmission? Any problems shifting gears? Are you willing to separate? I'm interested in the transmission and transfer case, bell housing, and adapter. Are you willing to ship?

Hi, yes I pulled from my FJ40. It all ran fine with zero issues. I just decided to tear mine down to the frame and was going with a Cummins diesel.
I purchased my FJ40 about a 1 1/2 years ago. Since then I only put approx. 50 miles on it. The previous owner shared that the engine was pulled from a 1997 Caprice with 97,000 miles and it approx. had 130k on it when I bought it. I am not certain on total mileage on NV4500 and transfer case, but everything was completed by BTE and Mudrack, so I have to believe it was all done right.
I don't mind separating or shipping.
Thanks,
Dusty

Do you know what year the transmission is from? Is it the low first gear? It would be '93-'94.

Also, does that transfer case, by any chance, already have the 4:1 gears in it?

I would only be interested in those two items. I'm swapping in a 5.3. I'd probably just come and get it since I'm in Idaho.

I'm an idiot. Of course the T-case won't have lower gears in it. So I'm just interested in the transmission.
